The Shooting Club ASBL

 

1. Introduction

The Shooting Club ASBL (“the Club”) is a non-profit association dedicated to the practice and promotion of basketball. By registering as a member or participating in activities organized by the Club, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

 

2. Membership & Fees

  • Membership is open to individuals aged 12 and above, subject to the Club’s approval.

  • Membership is valid on a per-session basis, and fees must be paid before or at the beginning of each session.

  • Payments are non-refundable.

  • Sessions expire after 6 months from the date of purchase and cannot be used beyond that period.

  • The Club reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate membership at its discretion, particularly in cases of:

    • Misconduct or violation of the Club’s rules.

    • Unsafe or disruptive behavior.

    • Failure to adhere to the Club’s Code of Conduct.

    • Any other reason deemed appropriate by the Club.

 

3. Session Cancellations & Club Rights

  • The Club reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., facility unavailability, coach absence, safety concerns).

  • If a session is canceled, members may attend any future session within the 6-month validity period.

  • The Club reserves the right to deny entry, refuse participation, or terminate membership at any time if a player violates the Club’s rules or for any other valid reason.

 

4. Code of Conduct

  • Members must show respect towards coaches, fellow players, referees, and staff.

  • Any form of discrimination, violence, harassment, or unsportsmanlike behavior will not be tolerated.

  • Members must respect the Club’s facilities and equipment.

  • The use of illegal substances or doping is strictly prohibited.

 

5. Liability & Insurance

  • Members participate in activities at their own risk. The Club is not responsible for injuries, loss, or damage to personal belongings.

  • The Club strongly recommends that members have personal sports insurance covering medical expenses in case of injury.

  • The Club complies with Luxembourg’s safety and risk management regulations for sports activities.

 

6. Health & Safety

  • Members must inform the Club of any medical conditions that may affect their ability to participate.

  • Coaches have the right to refuse participation if a player is deemed unfit to play for safety reasons.

  • In case of an emergency, medical assistance will be provided, and parents/guardians (for minors) will be notified as soon as possible.

 

7. Use of Photos and Videos

  • By participating in the Club’s activities, members (or parents/guardians for minors) consent to the Club taking photos and videos during training, matches, and events.

  • These images may be used for promotional purposes, including on the Club’s website, social media, and marketing materials.

  • If a member does not wish to appear in such media, they must notify the Club in writing before participation.

 

8. Data Protection

  • The Club complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Luxembourg’s data protection laws.

  • Personal data collected will only be used for administrative, communication, and operational purposes.

  • Members have the right to access, modify, or request deletion of their personal data.

 

9. Amendments to the Terms & Conditions

  • The Club reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.

  • Members will be informed of any significant changes in due course.

 

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Luxembourg.

  • Any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of Luxembourg’s courts.

By participating in The Shooting Club ASBL’s activities, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
